Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using inkPEEK ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the service.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use inkPEEK (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction — 14 in the Republic of Korea, 16 in some parts of the European Economic Area). By using inkPEEK, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the applicable age, please do not use the service.

3. Description of Service

inkPEEK is a free web-based tattoo preview simulation tool that lets you visualize how a tattoo design might look on your body before getting inked.

• Results are visual simulations only and may differ from an actual tattoo due to factors such as skin tone, body contour, and artistic execution.
• inkPEEK does not provide professional tattooing, medical, or cosmetic advice. Consult a qualified tattoo artist or healthcare professional before proceeding with any tattoo procedure.

4. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use inkPEEK for both personal and commercial purposes (for example, a tattoo artist using the tool with clients).

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, resell, or redistribute inkPEEK's logo, brand, user interface, or underlying code without prior written permission.
• Use inkPEEK in any way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload the following types of content to inkPEEK:

• Tattoo designs or images in which you do not hold the copyright or have no right to use (e.g., another artist's proprietary design uploaded without permission).
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content. Non-sexual partial nudity for the purpose of tattoo placement is permitted.
• Hateful, violent, or discriminatory imagery.
• Any content depicting minors in a sexual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful context, including nude or partially nude images of minors. Such uploads will be immediately blocked and reported to the appropriate authorities, including the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC, 방송통신심의위원회) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Enforcement. Because inkPEEK does not maintain user accounts, we enforce violations by blocking access from the offending IP address or device, and by reporting the matter to law enforcement when required by law.

6. Intellectual Property & No AI Training

• Your images: Copyright in images you upload remains with you. You grant inkPEEK a limited, temporary license solely to process your images and return the result to you. We do not retain, view, or share your images after processing completes.
• No AI training. inkPEEK does notuse your uploaded content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop any AI or machine learning model. Your uploads are never used to improve our underlying models or any third party's models.
• inkPEEK's property: The inkPEEK brand, logo, user interface design, and underlying code are owned by the operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimers

inkPEEK is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the simulation results.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
• We are not liable for any service interruptions, outages, or loss of processing results.

Tattoo simulation disclaimer.

Simulation results produced by inkPEEK are visual approximations only. Actual tattoo outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including skin type, body movement, the artist's technique, ink type and quality, lighting conditions, and the healing process. inkPEEK is not liable for any dissatisfaction, financial loss, or physical harm arising from real tattoo work based on a simulated preview produced by our service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, inkPEEK and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, inkPEEK's total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to use the service (which is zero, since the service is free) or (b) USD 100.

Korean law exception. Under the laws of the Republic of Korea, liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence cannot be excluded or limited, and nothing in these Terms shall exclude such liability.

9. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless inkPEEK and its operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

10. Third-Party Advertisements

inkPEEK displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense. inkPEEK does not endorse and is not responsible for:

• The content, accuracy, or legality of any third-party advertisement.
• Any transaction, dispute, or loss arising from your interaction with advertisers or advertised products.

Data processing related to advertising (including cookies and personalization) is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to inkPEEK at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15 of these Terms survive any termination.

12. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue inkPEEK at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes, but we are not obligated to do so. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of inkPEEK after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Governing Law & Contact

• Governing law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
• Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the Seoul Central District Court (서울중앙지방법원), except where the Framework Act on Consumers (소비자기본법) of the Republic of Korea grants a consumer the right to bring an action in the court of the consumer's place of residence.
• Amicable resolution. Before filing any formal claim, we encourage you to contact us by email so we can attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
